The ninth-seeded Creighton Bluejays take on eighth-seeded San Diego State this (thu) evening in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Mens' Basketball Tournament.
Tip-off at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth is set for 6:27 p.m. Central Time.
The game is to be televised on "truTV."
The Jays are 22-11 overall; 12-7 in the Big East, while the Aztecs are 23-8 overall,13-4 in the Mountain West Conference.
Creighton has a 4-3 edge in an overall series.
Both teams earned at large bids to this year's tournament.
The "Hilltoppers" from Omaha are making their 23rd appearance in the NCAA Tournament and 14th in the last 24 years.
