(Linn County, IA) -- The Linn County Sheriff's Department says the body of a missing man was found in a private pond.
The department says 41-year-old Hector Perez from Hiawatha, Iowa, had been missing since the beginning of December. His car was found abandoned in Robbins the week after he went missing. The Sheriff's Office says foul play is not suspected at this time and they're still waiting on a positive identification from the State Medical Examiner's Office.
