The reports and hunches are now confirmed;
"USA Swimming," the national governing body for the sport of swimming in the United States, Tuesday morning announced that Indianapolis will host the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
For the first time ever, the event will be staged on a football field, Lucas Oil Stadium.
Omaha has hosted the last four U.S.Olympic Swim Trials at CHI Health Center arena and convention center in North Downtown.
Before Omaha's successful run, which included managing the event though massive Covid protocols in 2021, the event had been held in Indy four times.
