(Des Moines, Iowa) -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office says a large water main break is closing a major Des Moines roadway.
NE 14th street is closed from NE 54th Avenue to Northeast 66th Avenue. The Sheriff's Office says the closure is expected to last for one week. Detour signs are posted, and you can find the detour route online at the Iowa Department of Transportation website.
