(Omaha, NE) -- Hy-Vee and Hormel are back giving out free hams to Nebraska families in need in time for Easter. Hy-Vee employees and first responders are giving away 5,000 hams for the 5th annual Hams for the Holidays event in the Midwest. Hams will be given out at the Omaha Police Department - Southeast Precinct at 2475 Deer Park Blvd starting at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. Hams will also be given away at Southwood Lutheran Church in Lincoln at 4301 Wilderness Hills Blvd at 4:00 p.m. Hy-Vee says it and Hormel have also given and are giving away hams in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, South Dakota and Wisconsin this week.
