The investigation is under way into an early Friday morning fire in Lincoln.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue says two people have been hospitalized after the two alarm house fire just after midnight at a home near 56th and Otoe Streets, near Van Dorn.
The fire department says an elderly couple lived in the home, and before firefighters arrived, the visually impaired husband went back inside to rescue his wife.
She was found in the garage and the husband in the front yard when firefighters pulled up.
