(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man is now recovering after being rescued from the Cedar River.
First responders found the man hanging onto a concrete wall Saturday afternoon near the First Avenue Bridge. A boat was used to help rescue the man and a firefighter that went over the side of the concrete wall to secure the man.
He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
