(Iowa) -- UnityPoint Health is continuing to ease COVID-19 restrictions inside its hospitals.
Last week, UnityPoint announced that masks are now optional for most patients. UnityPoint is also updating its visitor policy, now allowing patients in the hospital for maternity services to have two visitors and a birth coach or doula. All healthcare workers are still required to wear masks, as well as patients who are hospitalized with symptoms of a respiratory illness.
