(Undated) -- Some people in Iowa are getting scam texts claiming to be from the Iowa Department of Transportation. The DOT posted on Facebook Friday morning saying the scam text encourages people to click a link to look at their driving record. The DOT says it will never text a link to individuals about their record. The DOT does say however people can look up their record on the DOT website.
