(Des Moines, IA) -- 100 days until the return of the Iowa State Fair. Fair leaders are announcing a full schedule for free events and concerts in addition to the big ticket performers. Nearly forty performers including singers, bands, the Rubber Chicken Show, Chainsaw artists and more will perform on the smaller stages throughout the week. CEO Gary Slater also says the fair is hiring nearly 1,300 workers for the week long event. The fair is from August 11-21.
