(Marshalltown, Iowa) -- The Flying Elbow in Marshalltown is the winner of the 2022 Iowa Beef Industry Council's Best Burger in Iowa contest.
Owner Garrett Goodman says the restaurant started as a food truck in 2017 before opening a brick and mortar location in May of 2018. That restaurant was destroyed by a tornado that hit Marshalltown in July of 2018. The Flying Elbow has since opened a location at 229 N 13th Street in Marshalltown.
