(Newton, Iowa) -- Some of the biggest fireworks shows in the country are coming to central Iowa this summer.
Newton will host the Pyrotechnics Guild International annual convention, which will include three public fireworks shows. The "Thunderstruck Over Iowa Speedway" shows will start at 7pm and include a concert followed by a 90 minute fireworks show.
Dates for the shows include:
- July 31 — Jan and Dean’s Beach Party featuring Dean Torrence and the Surf City All-Stars
- August 2 — Hairball
- August 5 — Alexandra Kay and the Kraft Brothers
Tickets for the events are $20 and can be purchased online.
