Pets Could Be Dead In Waubeek House Fire

(Waubeek, IA) -- Multiple pets are feared to be dead after a house fire in eastern Iowa. The fire broke out at a home in Waubeek around 7:00 a.m. today. The Linn County Sheriff's Office says when firefighters arrived to the home they found it engulfed in flames. No one was hurt but the sheriff's office says some pets may have died. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined but it's believed to have started in the kitchen.
