In the race for Nebraska Governor, Jim Pillen wins the Republican nomination in the Tuesday primary election.
Pillen will face the winner of the Democratic Party Primary, Carol Blood.
The field is also now set for the November 8th General Election in the Nebraska Second Congressional District.
Incumbent Don Bacon again wins the Republican primary in his quest for a fourth term in office.
Bacon will face the winner of the Democratic primary, State Senator Tony Vargas, in November.
In Nebraska's First Congressional District, State Senator Mike Flood wins the Republican Primary, and he will take on Democratic Party nominee Patty Pansing Brooks in November.
The seat was formerly held by Republican Jeff Fortenberry, who resigned earlier this year after being convicted of concealing information and making false statements to the FBI about an illegal campaign contribution from a 2016 fundraiser in California.
In the 3rd Congressional District, Republican incumbent Adrian Smith, Democrat Daniel Else, and Legal Marijuana Now candidate Mark Elworth will be on the November ballot.
City of Omaha voters have approved over $260-Million dollars in bonds for capital improvement projects: $200-Million for street, bridge, and highway improvements; The rest will go to fire stations, parks, and other city improvements.
