The 40 - 14 Nebraska softball team, Big Ten Tournament champs, will be in the Stillwater, Oklahoma NCAA Regional and will play North Texas (35-14) this Friday at 5 p.m. CDT.
Host Oklahoma State (41-12) is the tournament's No.1 overall seed and will play Fordham (30-20).
Friday will be the third meeting ever between Nebraska and North Texas.
The Mean Green received the autobid after winning the CUSA Tournament.
This will be the Denton, Texas program's first trip to the NCAA Softball Tournament.
For the Big Red, it will be the 25th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, and the 21st NCAA Tournament appearance under legendary Head Coach Rhonda Revelle.
