(Allamakee County, IA) — A Fort Atkinson man’s been arrested after a series of home break-ins and car thefts.
The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Department says 25-year old Michael Troendle was arrested attempting to break into a home and steal a car. A 911 caller earlier reported another nearby home burglary by a man armed with a knife, who stole a car and left.
Sheriff’s investigators also link Troendle to a car theft from a business in Waukon.
A search of other police records shows a Michael Troendle was arrested in nearby Winneshiek County on April 25, accused of harassment and making threats.
