(Johnston, Iowa) -- The Iowa Gold Star Military Museum will hold its annual Memorial Day observance on Monday, including an open house and a free breakfast.
The open house runs from 5am-1pm at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center located at 7105 NW 70th Avenue in Johnston. A free breakfast will be served at the Camp Dodge Pool Pavilion from 6am-9am. The Memorial Day celebration will include live music, children's activities, displays of vintage and modern military vehicles, a vintage plane flyover, and more.
Visitoris can enter Camp Dodge at either the main date at 711 NW 70th Avenue or at the East Gate at 7700 NW Beaver Drive. A photo ID is required to enter Camp Dodge.
