(Waukee, IA) -- The new Triumph park is opening in Waukee on 700 NW Douglas Parkway. The complex took almost five years to plan and another two to construct. The sixty-six acre park contains twelve ballfields and a fifteen-thousand-square-foot playground for children with special needs. There is also an eleven acre pond that has already been stocked with fish for the summer. The city, Waukee Betterment Foundation and donors will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00 P.M.
