For thirteen years the "First Responders Foundation" has been showing their support for Omaha metro area law enforcement and firefighters by providing appreciation lunches, and the 2022 luncheons are this week.
The packing of the lunches will be happening today with deliveries set for Tuesday.
The food will go to Omaha Police, Omaha firefighters, and the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
The lunches will be delivered in decorated bags thanks to local students.
Volunteers will be assembling the lunches at "inTouch Communications," 5930 South 118th Circle, starting at four this afternoon, with deliveries Tuesday morning.
