(Des Moines, IA) -- One of the last brick warehouses in downtown Des Moines is now set to be developed. The old Carpenter Paper building at 106 Southwest Seventh Street will be turned into office spaces, according to the Des Moines Register. The developer also bought the nearby Lortex building at 113 Southwest Eighth Street this year, that building is expected to be turned into a tavern, brewery, or restaurant in the second phase of development construction.
