(Abingdon, Illinois) -- An investigation into the deaths of two people found dead in an Abingdon, Illinois home is underway.
Abingdon Police say Chief Rick Pecsi requested assistance from the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 2 around 8a.m. Friday after two bodies, one male and one female, were found in a home in the 200 block of North Snapp Street.
The victims have not been identified, and a cause of death has not yet been released.
