(Galena, Illinois) -- The Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Department says an investigation is underway after a shooting in Galena.
The Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to reports of the shooting a little after 9pm Wednesday. Deputies say the suspect left the scene before they arrived but was later arrested early Thursday morning. The Sheriff's Office says there's no ongoing threat to the public.
The identities neither the suspect nor the shooter have been released.
