(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man's facing charges after Cedar Rapids police say he shot at a woman and her son in her vehicle Monday night.
Police were called to 1340 11th Street NW before 7:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Officers found evidence of gunfire and damage to the victim's vehicle. Neither the woman nor her son were hit by gunfire.
Police say 30-year-old Isaiha Martin III was found several blocks away, with a gun. He was taken to the Linn County Jail and faces the following charges:
- Attempted Murder
- Assault Domestic Abuse, with Intent to Injure, with a Weapon.
- Intimidation with a Weapon
- Going Armed with Intent
- Criminal Mischief
- Neglect of a Dependent Person, Class C
