(Central City, IA) -- A Central City man is hospitalized after a tractor accident.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office says around 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, 52 year-old James Weighton was plowing field in a 1934 John Deere tractor when he hit a covered log during a turn. Investigators say Weighton was thrown from the driver's seat and dragged nearly 40 yards before getting free.
He was taken by helicopter to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
