Another traditional Big Red football weekend is at hand as Nebraska's heavy work on the practice field for this week has been completed ahead of Saturday evening's non-conference game against Georgia Southern out of the Sun Belt Conference.
As usual in college football, on Friday, both teams will have short, walk through practices at Nebraska Memorial Stadium.
Kick off Saturday is at 6:30 p.m. CDT in Lincoln, and the game will be televised on FS1.
Nebraska has a 1-1 record on the young season after a 38-17 victory over North Dakota last week in Lincoln.
Georgia Southern, located in Statesboro, opened the season with a 59-7 victory over Morgan State.
