(Davenport, IA) -- The Surface Transportation Board is extending public comment on a pending rail merger for another month.
The federal transportation regulator’s Office of Environmental Analysis is extending the comment period after preparing a draft of its Environmental Impact Statement on the potential Canadian Pacific Kansas City Southern railway merger.
The public comment period's original deadline of September 26th is now set for October 14th.
