(Iowa) -- Pheasant hunting season in Iowa is less than a month away.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says rooster pheasant season begins on October 29th and runs through January 10th of next year from 8am to 4:30pm each day. Youth pheasant hunting is allowed October 22nd and 23rd this fall, also from 8am to 4:30pm both days.
