(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The 32nd annual, Especially for You Race Against Breast Cancer in Cedar Rapids, set a new record for participants this weekend.
This year, 15,800 people registered just above the record of 15,792 runners in 2011. Nearly $500,000 was raised for the Especially for You fund through registrations.
The race took place Sunday at the Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
