(Ankeny, IA) -- The Ankeny Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration are teaming up for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
On October 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., central Iowans can take expired or unused prescription drugs and over-the-counter medication to the Ankeny Police Department. Last spring, the DEA says Americans turned in nearly 360 tons of prescription drugs at the last national drug take back day.
