(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Iowa State Patrol say one person is dead after leading officers one a chase early Monday morning.
The ISP says around 2am, the suspect, 38 year-old Jamie Hill, was trying to get away from Cedar Rapids Police officers when he crashed, rolling the car several times. He later died of his injuries. The crash caused a road closure near I-380 and Highway 30 westbound for several hours, but that stretch of road has since reopened.
