The Douglas County Department of Corrections reports the death of a person being held at the correctional center in downtown Omaha.
They say 47-year-old Aundrea Milnes was found unresponsive in her cell Thursday afternoon.
County Corrections says repeated efforts to revive her were unsuccessful, and she was declared deceased by Omaha Fire paramedics.
The woman was brought to the jail earlier Thursday on a count of Refusing a Request to Leave.
Under Nebraska law, a Grand Jury will eventually investigate the death.
