(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Construction is underway on a new downtown Cedar Rapids apartment building.
Cedar Rapids Hatch Development and Foundation 2 Crisis Services helped break ground yesterday at 510 7th Avenue Southeast.
Some of the apartment units will be reserved for teens aging out of the foster care system.
The apartment is expected to be finished by September 2023.
