Do you love or hate Elon Musk's chips in brains program?

Elon Musk says his Neuralink company should be implanting chips into human brains in about six months.

"We want to be extremely careful and certain that it will work well before putting a device into a human, but we've submitted I think most of our paperwork to the FDA and probably in about six months we should be able to upload Neuralink in a human," Musk said last night.

If the technology works, it could change the lives of millions of people, allowing those with Parkinson’s, dementia, Alzheimer’s and other physical and mental disabilities, to communicate and move again. Neuralink combines artificial intelligence with human capabilities through the use of a brain chip.

Now of course, as with all technology, the initial intent and the ultimate destination could be two different things.

If I was disabled in the ways described, I would want to be first in line for the brain chip. Where would it end? Somehow I just know I would be able to order things just by thinking about them and who knows what else would come next. So my position is I'm just not sure. How about you? Do you love or hate Elon Musk's chips in brains program?
