(Iowa City, IA) -- Police say an Iowa City man is in custody, accused of starting a fire in his apartment and assaulting first responders.
Investigators say Parker Hawkins set some papers in his kitchen on fire on top of his electric stove, then ran out of his apartment. When first responders arrived, officers say he shoved two first responders and made threats against them. He's now facing multiple charges.
