(Davenport, IA) -- The Davenport Police Department says it's investigating a fatal Monday morning shooting.
Police say officers responded reports of the shooting around 5am Monday in the 1500 block of West 16th Street and mound a middle-aged man dead from a gunshot wound at the scene. Investigators say they don't believe the shooting was random. The name of the victim has not been released, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
