Senator Grassley's Rural Opioid Prevention Act Passes in U.S. House

(Undated) -- The U.S. House of Representatives is passing Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley’s bipartisan bill working to prevent opioid addiction, overdoses, and deaths in rural areas.

The Rural Opioid Abuse Prevention Act, introduced by Grassley and Democratic Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff, was passed in the Senate last session.

The bill now goes to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law. Senator Grassley is a co-chair of the Senate Drug Caucus.
