(Omaha, NE) -- A former Omaha police officer that was set to plead guilty to child pornography charges is now asking for a trial. The Omaha World Herald reports Christopher Groth hired a new lawyer Wednesday and asked the court to give him a trial in February. The judge in the case ordered a conference hearing in January. The affidavit in Groth's case remains sealed, but his indictment accuses him of enticing a minor for child porn, possessing child porn, and sending child porn on his computer.
