(Lincoln, NE) -- Winter weather led to more than 150 traffic incidents in just one day last week.
The Nebraska State Patrol says troopers responded to 46 crashes, performed 78 motorist assists, and assisted other agencies in 24 incidents on Thursday. Most of the state was under a Winter Weather Advisory that day, including the Omaha metro area.
One Nebraska Department of Transportation worker was struck by a vehicle while responding to a crash. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.
The NSP and DOT are reminding people to be cautious while driving this winter.
