(Rock Island, IL) -- A 16-year-old is being charged as an adult, accused of attempted armed robbery in Rock Island Tuesday.
Police say an 18-year-old man reported the crime, giving a description that matched Taeshaun Rhymes.
The man claimed the 16-year-old fired a gun in his direction while trying to rob him.
Police found Rhymes with a stolen weapon.
He's facing several charges, with a 100-thousand dollar bond.
