(Des Moines, IA) -- A 35-year-old man is facing several charges, including homicide and drag racing, after a high-speed crash on Fleur Drive killed a four-year-old.
Des Moines police say the crash was the result of a street race.
They say Robert Miller lost control of a 2022 Genesis, when it crossed the median and crashed into two on-coming vehicles.
Police say the car was going more than 100 miles per hour before Miller lost control.
4-year-old Marcos Faguada was a passenger in one of the oncoming cars, and was killed in the crash. An 8-year-old and a woman were also injured in the crash, but are expected to recover.
