(Omaha, NE) -- A 7 year old girl severely injured in a south Omaha house fire dies.
The family of Jaya Moore says the girl died at the St. Elizabeth's Burn Center in Lincoln on Wednesday. The girl was unresponsive when fire crews found her inside the burning home near 23rd and S streets Tuesday morning. Moore, along with her grandfather Michael Pratt and his sister Rashelle Kirkland were in the home when it caught fire. All three were taken to St. Elizabeth's, the only burn center in the region.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
