(Marshalltown, IA) -- A Marshalltown woman faces arson charges in connection to a fire that caused significant damage to a home earlier this year. Police arrested 64-year-old Kristi A. Franklin on Wednesday.
On March 10, the Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a fire at 107 E. Lincoln Street. No one was home, and no injuries were reported. An investigation determined that the fire was set intentionally.
Franklin is charged with second-degree arson, a Class-C felony. The fire department says the incident remains under investigation.
