Cedar Rapids Brewery Raises Money for Derecho Relief

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids brewery raises thousands of dollars for derecho relief through sales of a new beer.

Backpocket Brewing's sales of its Recovery Red IPA raised money for the ReLeaf Cedar Rapids project. Backpocket partnered with the "Not Fun Nancy" Restaurant Group to donate more than $7,000 to Trees Forever, a Marion based environmental non-profitworking on re-planting trees lost in the August 2020 derecho.
