(West Des Moines, IA) -- There's new information about an attempted-murder suicide in West Des Moines. Police were called to a townhouse at 9027 Copper Drive around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, and found the body of 42-year-old Chad Michael in the front yard. Forty-one-year-old Jayme Ekis was indoors, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She remains hospitalized in serious condition.
