(Rock Island, IL) -- A Moline woman is sentenced in the death of her son.
On January 20th, a Rock Island County judge sentenced 36 year-old Jennifer Keim to four years of probation connected to her 15 year-old son's death in 2020. Keim was arrested in March of 2021 after an investigation into her son's death. Moline Police say her son was severely disabled and taken to an area hospital for emergency treatment. Investigators says her son was severely dehydrated, had open wounds, and was emaciated.
Keim was charged with first degree murder in the case, but her charge was lowered to a single count of criminal abuse.
