(Undated) -- Another storm system will track across the Great Plains into Iowa Friday night bringing snow to much of eastern IA and northwest IL. Forecasters with the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities say areas along and north of I-80 are likely to see at least 2 inches of dry fluffy snow that falls primarily during the morning hours. Strong north winds will develop behind this system causing some drifting across east west roads.
Any snow will exit the region by late morning with strong SW / W winds developing.
