(Johnston, IA) -- People in Johnston may see city crews out trimming trees this week.
The City of Johnston says crews will be trimming treees in the right-of-way this week to 8 feet above sidewalks and 14 feet above the roadway. Parks Department crews will be working this week, weather permitting, in areas including:
- NW 96th Street
- White Oak Lane
- Ironwood Lane
- Green Meadows North Neighborhood
The city is reminding residents that the tree trimming service is at no cost to the adjoining property owner.
