(Waterloo, IA) -- Waterloo Police say a 13 year-old is in custody and accused of attempted murder.
Police say officers received reports of a shooting on Wednesday afternoon. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers reported life-saving measures on the victim. The victim was initially taken to an area hospital in Waterloo before being flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
