(Omaha, NE) -- An inmate is missing from the Community Corrections Center in Omaha. According to a press release, 20-year-old Julian Tapia had his electronic monitor removed around a mile from the facility. Tapia was serving a sentence of 8 to 21 years for first and second degree assault. Tapia is described as a Hispanic male, 6’ 4”, 190 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
