(Ames, IA) -- An Ames flight school is hoping to help fill the national pilot shortage.
Central Iowa Air Service has gotten the needed F-A-A certification to partner with colleges, on pilot training.
The result could mean a less expensive and faster path to pilots earning their wings.
Central Iowa Air Service is currently working on a curriculum with Des Moines Area Community College, aiming to start the program next year.
